Instructional Video USA is a premier producer earth science & journalism programming for K thru 12 public, parochial and home schools. By repurposing analog video courses beyond VHS format into an interactive environment of DVD offered opportunities to create a more professional, informative packaging for the client’s customer base.

Included in the redesign for all packaging was artwork standardization by program type: Geology, Mass Media and General Science. Additional features incorporated were similar titles of interest to the customer, web addresses for online catalog shopping & customer service. International Standard Book Numbering bar codes were applied to facilitate cataloging activities of libraries and wholesale distributors.

Printed on demand by color laser on 24# legal stock along with the ink jet DVD+R disks, affords a significant cost reduction verses mass duplication considering over 400 titles are involved. An additional benefit of on demand production strategies is custom branding for large institutional orders such as universities or museums.
