Grizzly creek, a truly enchanted Colorado venue, located 5 miles east of Glenwood Springs on Interstate 70 (exit 122), offers spectacular hiking in beautiful Glenwood canyon. Fir and pine grace canyon slopes, with islands of spruce and aspen traversing up to canyon rims. The trail along the creek is shrouded with great stands of cottonwoods, willows and Gambel oak scrub.
The element above is a research graphic created with Zoomify, an export plug-in included in Adobe Creative Suite 3. Unlike previous versions embroiled with controversy (Zoomview from Viewpoint part of CS2), Zoomify employs a Shockwave viewer (swf movie) with a dab of xml and image slices to drive the user experience. No software to install, no complicated licensing agreements, just Flash integrated within the production workflow environment.
My implementation of a more feature rich version based on Zoomifyer Flash, including full viewer configuration via ActionScript API, is under development. Release candidates will be previewed here in the Lab Area as testing continues.
